O.N.E of Many is a cinematic short film rooted in Omaha’s Black history, family storytelling traditions, and the resilience that exists between joy and pain. Through humor, memory, and generational conversation, the project explores how communities carry history, survive trauma, and preserve identity.

Alongside the short film, a companion documentary titled O.N.E of Many: The Construction is currently in development.

The documentary will explore the creative and community journey behind the making of the film through interviews, historical conversations, production footage, cast and crew experiences, and discussions centered around Omaha’s Black history, culture, storytelling traditions, and generational memory.
​
Rather than simply documenting the filmmaking process, the project aims to preserve real community voices, perspectives, and lived experiences connected to the history and themes explored throughout O.N.E of Many.
​
The documentary will serve as both a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of the film and a deeper reflection on the importance of preserving stories that continue to shape Omaha’s communities today.
